taking the fall for the website dubbed health care.gov on its rocky debut. the obama care website has been touted as a gateway to overhauling the nation's health care giving uninsured americans health coverage. but it's proving to be not so affordable. what's the fallout for the president at a time when americans feel betrayed or misled by his promises tied to obama care? his approval ratings, for example, are taking a big hit and some in the white house worry that there will be consequences for a president playing defense who repeatedly says he simply wasn't aware there would be problems that would ultimately lead to a disastrous rollout. joining us now, fox news host, governor mike huckabee, who is here to offer his perspective. governor, great to have you. let me ask you first, what we're seeing is a law designed to cover the uninsured. it's now booting far more people off their insurance plans than it can sign up. right now, on the nonfunctioning insurance exchanges. governor, the longer this goes on, what does this do to the president who can't distance himself from a law he set

-mouthers of obama care anywhere in the country. but look what's happening in their own backyard. this is the pulse center, and this is where mitch mcconnell and rand paul have never been. they have never been here in frankfurt, kentucky. it's an obscure office complex, it's known as building 12, and it's kind of hard to find. but this is where we were this morning. i wanted to go to kentucky to find out how this is working. president obama last week in a speech in boston, massachusetts, talked about what was unfolding in the state of kentucky, and said that pretty much this is the model. well, let me tell you something. this is the man right here, who is making it happen in the state of kentucky. this is the man who understands the vision, and is making health care a reality for kentucky residents. i sat down with the governor of kentucky today, steve beshear. governor beshear has been a big part of obama care's success in the state. as soon as the law was passed, he saw the vision. they got to work on the infrastructure for the exchange. they're up and running and it's working. he's cut through a

health care associates an outspoken critic of obama care said he's getting calls from executives who want him to speak out anderson for problems because they feel defenseless against the white house p.r. team. it's been told that the white house has exerted massive pressure on the industry, including the trade associations to keep quiet. they fear white house. >> what exactly are they asked to keep quiet about? >> that clarifications were made to the affordable care october. and those clarifications are forcing the insurance agencies to drop the insurance plans. there's a lot of coverage required in the plans. that was not part of many people's private health care plans. those are the people, anderson, being dropped. despite all the rhetoric, i should say, from the president, you simply can't keep your health care plan if it does not mean the requirements. he said the insurance industry is embarrassed about canceling the plans in an interview, he told me that the administration was warned about this very scenario and ignoreded advice. >> when the regulations were being put together, peopl

in the first 13 months. >> there are big website problems with obama care. i think what is refreshing right now is crickets of this obama care are starting to look at how do we fix it? how to fund this thing, we can't accept it as the new law. and we should remember that as this program was rolled out in massachusetts in 2006, it took roughly three years before major problems with the system began to get fixed. so, i think insurance companies involved with this and analysts i talked with will tell you the insurance companies want to wait until they are not going to rush to judgment in the first three weeks based on whether or not there were web glitches. >> 36 states are affected by this. what do you think? >> call it what you will. whatever you think about the whole concept and idea of obama care, the execution has been disastrous. this undermined a lot of confidence in the program, undermined confidence in the program. jeff happens to be an extraordinarily talented person and he may be able to cure it. i don't think it's going to happen in the next two or three weeks. it will take a bit
